Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go." — T.S. Eliot

Who Am I?

My career path and unique skill sets have led me to distinguish myself from other online marketing consultants. After serving six years in the US Navy, specializing in RADAR and navigation systems, I provided technical support and performed installations for casino gaming systems. Over the course of eight years in this position, I began to realize that there was an important niche created by the intersection between my two passions, strategy and technology.

In 2009, I launched my own online humor brand, Monkey Pickles. One of the most important aspects of Monkey Pickles is the sense of community it fosters. With a presence across a variety of social media platforms, including our own, we interact with our followers, whom we affectionately call Monkey Picklers, and tailor content based on their feedback. This hands-on method changed the way I viewed online marketing. I saw that the standard, cookie-cutter model had a mixed success rate. Too often, online marketing consultants, and ad agencies didn’t craft their strategy around the unique needs of their clients.

Why Choose Me?

I believe in a holistic approach to business marketing. I have found that my clients can take their business to the next level when we work side by side toward their goals. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all strategy, I take the time to get to know you, your team, and your business. Together, we create a customized plan based on your company’s mission, sales objectives and unique client base. I use web analytics, competitor research, social insights and a slew of tools to target areas in which your online presence needs improvement, and then I launch a laser-focused campaign that includes press releases, advertising, PPC, website building, and blogging. I look for ways to incorporate cutting-edge SEO strategies into all your online content. I also teach you how to build and maintain a social media presence, creating a community that inspires customer loyalty and brings new eyes and ears to your brand by generating discussion, sales, and leads.

Consulting and marketing is not just my job; it’s what I love to do. Even in my down time, I stay involved in the industry by working on side projects or keeping myself up-to-date on news and strategies in the tech marketing sector. Over the years, I’ve had my hands in more than 150 exciting and varied projects, from home health care and medical manufacturing to toy branding, eCommerce and product launches. I’ve relished every single challenge that’s come my way, because finding ways around obstacles has led me down the path of growth and innovation.

Areas of Specialty

Along with the many skill sets I’ve acquired throughout my life, my years in the trenches of online marketing have allowed me to focus tightly on these specific areas and explain them in simple block diagram of how they work:

  • Search Engine Optimization: improving your ranking and visibility when people search for keywords relevant to your business
  • Pay Per Click: harnessing the power of search engine advertising to drive traffic to your site
  • Social Media: building and interacting with communities of brand followers
  • Consulting: taking an all-encompassing view of your brand and current marketing strategies to identify strengths and weaknesses
  • Training: providing you and your team with the tools to continue reaching new people and growing your business
  • Marketing: employing multi-faceted strategies to reach your existing and potential customer base with information about your products, services, or events
